Amazon Marketplace Plugin
The Amazon Marketplace plugin allows AppSynergy to easily read and write data in the Amazon Marketplace.
For example, you might build a custom order management system in AppSynergy that reads the latest order data
directly from Amazon, and subsequently updates the inventory and shipping data in Amazon as a result of your
own fulfillment operations.
Or you could build a custom merchandising tool that integrates with your inventory database.
Or use multiple plugins and create a unified multi-channel order management solution.
All of your Amazon Marketplace data can be integrated:
- Inventory
- Pricing
- Orders
- Fulfillment
- etc.
Features
- Live Data. The plugin enables the reading and writing of live data.
An update to a federated table connected to Amazon Marketplace means the data
in Amazon Marketplace is changed immediately.
Thorny syncing issues are therefore largely eliminated.
- Transforms APIs into Database Tables. The plugin translates MariaDB SQL to the appropriate
underlying API calls to the remote system. This means you can work with SQL rather than
worry about API implementation details.
- Role Based Security. Even if the remote system has limited security features you can apply more
granular security over-the-top using AppSynergy's Security Roles.
Our Security Roles enable control of select/insert/update/delete
right down to the table/column/record level. This enables different users assigned to different roles
to have differing access permissions even if the remote system doesn't provide such capability.
- Caching. You can enable query caching to improve the performance of a slow remote system.
The cache can be built and refreshed automatically at periodic intervals.
In addition you can refresh select portions of the cache manually with a single line of PL/SQL code.
